I had to come and blog this really quick before I forget and get into wrapping the rest of the presents. Elias, Adam & I checked Norad to see where Santa was and boy did that light a fire in their butts to get to bed. It was really cute. Elias running around trying to get his teeth brushed and Adam fiercely searching for his Spiderman PJ’s. The ones with the webs under the sleeves.
Elias & I headed for the kitchen to gather cookies and milk, to leave out for Santa. We left them on the dinning room table and Elias made sure the 3 cookies we left out were the ones his Mom-Mom had baked, and the biggest and prettiest ones. I gave them their snack/drink and tucked them in. Before I closed the door Elias said, “Mom, I love you!”
I said, “I love you too, good night.”
He popped his head back up and said, “Merry Christmas!”
I said it back to him, closed the door and got all teary eyed. I am blessed to have the best kids on the planet!
