There is something about a great pair of new Levis, and awesome graphic tee and some new slick looking Nikes that make the 1st day worth while! I have to say Noah looked fantastic walking out the door this morning! The 1st day of 6th grade, oh joy! I remember 6th grade well (Mrs.Dunn). Let me tell you the list of school supplies for him included a graphic calculator, holy smokes, that means lots of Math that is going to make our heads hurt. He was prepared, back pack and lunch box full of goodies. I know he will have an amazing first day!
Our summer has been filled with lots of fun activities and family! Although, through most of August I was battling Lyme Disease, but it only got me down for maybe 3 days. Moms don’t get a break especially with 4 kids.
This summer we went to the carnival, where I forgot my camera and wasn’t able to capture Adam riding his first ride. But Maia was so thrilled to be the one to ride it with him. She said, “I will remember forever, I took him on his first ever ride!”
We swam in our pool almost every day (when it wasn’t raining) and I have to say I am loving my tan. Dale and I also have been trying to eat and get healthier. He has slimed down so much and is HAWT! And I have managed to loose about 23lbs and him about 25lbs!
Elise, the kids and I hit the beach alot! The sand and the sun, no better way to relax the day away. Here are some great shots of the kids and the horses that live at our local beach!

My father had a family picnic that was fantastic. This is the last year for his pool, he will be taking it down. We are sad, but we have so many memories that will stay with us forever!

One morning I walked outside to discover we have a not so little friend living under one of our garages. He/she is so ugly, it’s cute.

Elias starts school 9/8 and he is less than excited, I am hoping his open house on the 3rd will make it more exciting. Adam who does not start until next September has already informed me the he will not be going to school. HA! Poor thing if only it were that easy. Adam doesn’t know it yet, be he and I will be having some schooling right here at the dinning room table a couple days a week! And we will be going to the library for story time, so he can get used to being around other kids. He will not be happy I can assure you
