I want to wish my family a peaceful and filling Thanksgiving. With the blessing from our lord! This year because of travel and busy schedules some of us will not be together this year. But know that I love all of you dearly and will be counting my blessing for you today.
I am so thankful for Dale and the children, without I would not be complete. This year we all are healthy and happy, which makes me ever so thankful.
To my friends and even those who I do not speak to or have lost touch with (due to misunderstanding or complicated difficulties) I wish all of you a wonderful day filled with the love of your family and the Lord. You have been a wonderful addition to my family and I could not ask for better people to call my friends. I love you very much and hope to have many years of fun and togetherness.
Please say a prayer for those that are less fortunate than us. May God’s blessings of happiness, wealth, love and faith pour down upon you today!
Elias got his hair cut today and this is what he wanted!

Isn’t he the cutest! It was his idea and I went with it. I just asked my mom to leave it a little longer on the sides so he could spike it all over. He is in love with it so much, that on the way home he tried to sleep with his head straight up so it would not get bent. It didn’t work and after a couple of minutes bobbing side to side he gave up. But with so much product on his hair it didn’t move
Adam got a hair cut too and he just looks so much older. Where did my babies go?!?!

I am feeling almost 90% back to my normal self. Thank God! I actually cleaned up some and did some laundry today. I still have a nagging bad cough, but I think I am out of the woods. I am praying that I will stay well throughout the remainder of the holiday season. This is my favorite time of the year and I don’t want to miss it.
I have to give kudos to the kids and Dale they really stepped up last week and helped out. See I knew they liked me, they really like me…bwahahahahaha!
Well it has been almost 5 days now and 3 of those days have been spent laying in bed, coughing up a lung or two. You would think that I would like to be in bed lounging around watching tv. Well..NO! I would love to do it on my terms not because I have to or I might fall over from dizziness. I am bored to death, my house work is fallen behind and the kids are being good bless their hearts, but lord knows what they are eating for dinner. I have not cooked in a week. Today is a little better. Tomorrow I hope to be up and around more. This has really kicked my butt. But it also has been an eye opener. Because the kids and Dale can take care of themselves, well for the most part.
Because I am sick, lazy and don’t want to have to hunt down my tissues.
I have never thought about this until today. I posted this picture of Elias working diligently on a Christmas card he was making for a charity effort my moms group was having.
And one of my friends said, “Elias is so cute, he looks like a child star. A little Ricky Schroeder, if anyone remembers “Silver Spoons”!”
The thought never occurred to me until she said something. I asked Dale and he said he always thought that he looked like him.
What do you think?
Hmmm let’s see. Halloween was a blast. We Trick or Treated at a friends house and had wonderful time. My dearest girlfriends and their husbands were there and all the kiddos. The candy was gone in 2 days..lol.
Adam would not wear his mask, I am lucky I even got him in the costume

Elias and Noah, being 2 goofy Clone Troopers.

Last week Dale injured himself at work. He was unloading some coax cable and pulled it to hard and way to fast. It came up and smacked him right in the eye. The next day I took him to the Dr, he had a severely scratched cornea and a punctured eyelid. All together now…OW!!! He was out of work for about 5 days, but has healed very well and back to normal. In this picture you can see the scratch very clearly (click to make larger)…eww!

Here are a couple pictures of Laylah and Adam. My poor kitties, Adam just loves them so much, maybe a little to much. Check out the look on Laylah’s face..”you are going to pick me up aren’t you?”

Yesterday my Moms group had our annual Thanksgiving brunch. Lots of friends, kids and yummy food. I made the turkey and it was actually good..lol. Not dry, I was so paranoid it would be.
