Noah today you are 11 and Maia you are 9. I can’t believe how time flies. I am so very proud of the 2 of you words can’t even explain. The family is so blessed because the 2 of you are part of it. We love you so very much. I hope today (even though you both are in school) you have an amazing birthday.

Not much going on
Everything here is really busy since the start of school. Getting all 4 kids up and ready before the crack of dawn to meet the bus by 7:15am is a huge challenge. So far we are making it. I am tired by mid day, but have scrapping the days away lately. I could be cleaning or doing something else constructive, but I like scrapping better. If you want to take a peek click here. Maybe tomorrow something exciting will happen

You will always be in my heart
3 years ago today of one the most remarkable women I knew and was lucky to call my grandmother, was called home by our Lord. I miss you everyday and often speak to you as if you were standing in the room with me. I remember the last words you spoke to me and cherish them to this day. I will hold the love you had for me and my family everyday in my heart. You are truly and forever missed. I love you Mom-Mom.
Happy Birthday Jaden!

Huge white space
Since painting our kitchen this past weekend I have been looking at other areas of our home. I have this huge 16ft wall in my living room. I have no idea how in the world to decorate it. I was thinking about some art work or something, but no ideas come to mind. Even a nice big framed picture would be to small I think. I have some pictures up on one side and was thinking maybe getting another frame like that to hang there as well, but it just doesn’t seem enough.
A nice warm paint color would be nice, but we would figure out a way to get up to the top. I sit back and look at this wall everyday and now I think…”what we were thinking when we built it this way?” ![]()
I am open to any suggestions at this point, because my decorator skills are seriously lacking!

Beautiful Frame
A while back I bought a great frame to showcase most of the proofs of a photo session I had with my dear friend Melissa. I could not figure out the for the life of me how to get the stupid frame up on my wall. The screws it came with were to small, we tried nails, but they wouldn’t hold it, but eventually we got it figured out. Only after serval failed attempts and months. Dale had to get some special kind of thing to go behind some bigger screws we had. I just love all of the photos and how I have them arranged. It looks great on my wall. Now if I can just figure out what do with the rest of the 16ft wall I will be happy.
Let the sunshine in
Over the Labor Day weekend Dale and I painted my kitchen. I am so happy with the way it turned out I just kept going in there when we were finished. I am tickled “yellow”.

1st day of 1st grade
Look at my oldest boys! Noah started the 5th grade at the middle school last week and today was Elias’ first day of 1st grade. I kept asking him if he was nervous or scared, he assured me he wasn’t. Although, right after his shower last night he proclaimed he was quiting school. I asked him why and all he could tell me was because your not allowed to talk on the bus. Poor thing, if that is all he has to worry about this year, I think we will be ok. He didn’t hug me or kiss me goodbye, got on the bus and shook the bus drivers hand. Now, how sweet is that!
The 2 of them didn’t want to smile for this picture, because I have the camera out all the time and I think they are tired of it. Being the sweet boys they are, they gave me a half smile. Not sure exactly what Noah was doing with his hands. A good picture nonetheless.
We spent most of the day yesterday in the pool, because it wont be as used as much since school has started. Plus we may be taking it down this coming weekend.
This morning was a busy one. I was up at 5:30am, started with coffee, packed lunches and started to wake the troops. First stop was Dale, then Noah and Elias, then made my way upstairs to get Susan up. This year is difficult because everyone has to be out of the house at the same time, which is 7:15. We made it with no snags, it was easier because every one showered (except Dale) last night and clothes were all laid out.
Adam and I have the whole day to ourselves. So far I have done some laundry and cleaned the game room. I can’t even tell you what that looked like, a complete discombobulation.
I am sad summer is on it’s way out and fall is coming. Although, I love the holidays, summer is still my favorite time of year. I will miss seeing Maia, Jaden & Elise everyday. But every other weekend they will be here spending time with me. So I don’t think it will be to bad. Poor Maia didn’t want to leave me on Sunday. I think she would live here if her mom would let her ![]()
I guess it is time for Christmas lists and shopping. I think before I start all that Adam & I will take a swim before all the kids get home
