Since it is Sunday now, I feel as though I can cacth my breath. I have been going steady since last Sunday. Shew! Now you have to remember I babysit for my other neice & nephew, so I have 6 kids all together (not counting the teenager {16} who refuses to be seen with all those kids LOL) , every day (10,9,7,4,5 &2)!
Monday night I picked up my oldest niece Kimberley and she was spending the week with me. We both were so excited! We have not been able to see each other like I would of liked for almost 2 years. What a beautiful girl she is. Tall, long hair all sun tanned. And you know of course I had plans for every single day she was at my house!
Monday before Kim got there I took the kids to the playground to meet some of my DE mom friends. It was a wonderful day, not to hot like it had been the weekend. That night Kim and the kids hung out and watched movies and we had a fun catching up session.
Tuesday was our Moms group playdate day. We had a great time. The kids swam and ran around. I needed a nap when I got home, of course that didnt happen =)
Wednesday we headed to the playground and stayed there for 4 hours! While at the playground I saw a friend I had not seen in 8 years! Talk about right place right time!
Thursday Susan was picked up by my Mom to head to the State fair! Who by the way won a ribbon for Best in Show for one of her jarred goodies. I love the fair! She had a great time and could not stop talking about it when I got home. You made her day Mom-love ya!

Thursday we headed out to Dad & Audreys pool. We stopped off at McDonalds first and let me tell you that was an experience. It was me and 5 kids eating inside =) I picked a table all the way in the back, so as not to bother any of the other people in the resturant. 5 Happy Meals, 5 Sodas and 5 toys all going every where at once. Oh and lets not forget, because they were so good Aunt Tricia got them all (5) Hot Fudge Sundaes! Oh the sugar! The pool was great and the kids loved it. It was cut short because of a 10 min downpour we had. So we just dried off and came home. I did come home with the yummiest home grown tomatoes. They were awesome, especially the stripies. Thanks Dad & Audrey for letting us invade the pool and for the yummy matoes-love ya!
Friday the kids and I had plans to go to the park, but at 7 am I stuck my head outside and it was blazing hot. With no AC in our van I just could not take them out. So we stayed inside, I did lots of laundry and the kids stayed in their PJ’s all day and played video games, watched movies, we did venture out for about an hour in the yard to plant a tree. Before I took Kim home, I french braided her hair. It was so pretty, I loved playing with her hair all week, because now that Susan is older she doesnt let me. I think that french braids are out in a 16 yr olds social circle. I took Kim home about 7:30 and we had fun on the way home, singing and having dinner in the van.
I was really nice, seeing my sister and her husband, talking to them like old times. Kim and I have already made plans for her to come back for another week in about 2 or 3 weeks. You never know how much you miss someone until they are gone. I am glad I had this time with her, this is the begining of more time spent with them. I love you guys!
